Emily`s Pancake House in Waukegan

Emily's Pancake House made my week! Unfortunately, my husband couldn't be there for my birthday because of his work schedule. So he made it up to me by ordering from Emily's and bringing it home. Their pick up service is great. They told my husband it was only 5 min to pick up. The order was exactly how my husband ordered it. The food was hot and fresh when I got it. They even threw in some syrup and butter for the pancakes. The food is so amazing! Delicious flavor in every bite of the avocado skillet. And these are the best pancakes I've tried in such a long time. Fluffy and perfectly cooked. I can't wait to order more food. But now my belly is happy and full, so I need a nap now.

Food was great- 5 stars all day. Bacon Avocado Benedict is amazing. Went in at 1:45, by 2:15 they were sweeping and mopping around our table and putting chairs up all around us. Waitress was new and forgot several things. Service 1 star, food 5 stars. Don't go close to closing time and probably a better experience.

Preordered the apple pancake and came in for breakfast. Was huge! Added a regular egg breakfast to go along with it and ended up with wayyy too much food! We were so full we only had a light dinner late that evening.

Excellent service and attentive care - even during peak Brunch hours. The food is delicious. The cinnamon french toast is AMAZING. There's a lot of variety on the menu plus an array of daily specials for breakfast and lunch.

Usually the food from this location is good with no complaints, but today the food was horrible. I ordered eggs benedict, oatmeal, my daughter ordered biscuits, and gravy. The hollandaise sauce was brown, the canadian bacon was hard, and so was the croissant bread it was on. The oatmeal had a rotten taste, and smell not eatable. My daughters biscuits were burnt at the bottom. I paid for food I could not eat when I tried to call the restaurant there was no answer.

Just order a 10.00 breakfast sandwhich w/ sausage eggs and cheese on wheat and i got an eggs and wheat toast. Called and spoke with a manager she said oh okay bring it back mind u this is a 15 min ride andwe will make it correct. Bad customer service word of mouth goes along way no sorry,Or compensation for their mistakes.

Stopped into Emily's for breakfast on the way to the airport thinking we wouldnt eat much. One look at the menu changed our mind. I had the peaches and cream stuffed french toast (OMG YUM) and hubby had the avocado omelet, also tasty. Our waitress Benita was fun and upbeat and we had a great breakfast and time!

The carnitas skillet was great. Had a lot of flavor. The staff was friendly. Food came quick. Everyone enjoyed their meals.
